Straightforward Carrier Onboarding
Our carrier onboarding is handled through RMIS upon request and after a load has been agreed upon. We aim to keep the process clear and organized so qualified carriers can complete the required onboarding steps for an agreed shipment.

Dry and Temperature-Controlled Freight
We arrange transportation for a variety of commodities, including dry, fresh, chilled, and frozen goods. Carriers should confirm the required equipment, temperature settings, pickup and delivery requirements, and other shipment details before accepting a load.
Carrier Onboarding Process
Simple, Clear, and Shipment-Specific
Step 1 — Discuss the Load
Contact our dispatch team to discuss available freight, lane details, pickup and delivery requirements, equipment needs, and the agreed rate.
Step 2 — Agree on the Shipment
Confirm the load details and mutually agree to the shipment terms before proceeding.
Step 3 — Complete RMIS Onboarding
Upon request and after a load has been agreed upon, we initiate the carrier onboarding process through RMIS. Carriers must complete the applicable requirements and receive any necessary approval before hauling the shipment.
Step 4 — Confirm and Execute
Verify the rate confirmation, shipment instructions, pickup details, and any applicable requirements before dispatching the truck.
Important: Never assume that a load is authorized simply because someone uses the 5 RIVER BROKERAGE INC. name or logo. Independently verify the load and the person offering it using our official contact information.

5 RIVER BROKERAGE INC. currently issues carrier payments by physical check only. Please review our current payment policies before accepting a shipment:
- Payment method: Physical checks only.
- Fuel advances: Not offered.
- Repair advances: Not offered.
- Other advances: Not offered.
- Payment timing: Subject to the applicable rate confirmation, agreed payment terms, and receipt of the required documentation.
Carriers should review and understand the payment terms before accepting a load. Please do not assume that electronic payments, fuel advances, repair advances, quick-pay services, or other advance arrangements are available.
